I think there is a bit of drama about how they are taking this...they are busines people and will understand that the decision was made because the majority of Americans felt that it was a poor decision.

After World War II there was a time when many German companies could not bid here and once that initial fear passed-well Krupp etc. did just fine.

If the UAE are staunch allies they will remain so-even as we have to them for without a US presence, or threat of one, most of the smaller Arab states would be annexed.
