[R]evolutionary Tale

There is a revolutionary development in behavioral adaptation of the species coming to a theater near you. By that I mean the beyond seditious, tasteless British film showing our President being assassinated.

Big buzz has turned into big bucks for controversial film "Death of a President," as Newmarket inked a deal Monday in Toronto to release in U.S. theaters the pic about the fictional assassination of President Bush.

However, folks are not taking too kindly to British film-makers Range and Finch making a film like that about our President; it's been reported that they have been receiving death threats.

Here's the point. These men and all those like them are proving evolution to be false (and with a last name like Finch, this is even more delicious).

What we are actually observing is the slow and painful process of the oh so enlightened liberals from the movie industry devolving into a mass of chaotic vulgar putrescence.

I thought there were laws against showing this movie, similar to phoning a death threat to the White House. I hope the AG goes after the film distributor.

For an interesting angle on the Hollyweird liberals, go see Barb for her post on the mood in Hollywood post 9/11. As strange as it may sound, folks there were concerned that they were the next target, since they are the providers of decadent entertainment.

bin Laden and his ilk are most likely aware that the Hollyweird bunch can be very useful idiots to spread their Islamofascist propaganda. Seen any movies lately showing the Islamofascists in a bad light? Think they're too scared to try even if they wanted to?

My link didn't take - you can find Barb at the Church of the Masses: churchofthemasses.blogspot.com

Thanks for the link. The last paragraph about the woman retrieving her car flag on Fairfax really got me.

I also agree that these people should be indicted (exactly for what? I'm not a lawyer) on charges of sedition or plot to assassinate a sitting president -- do we even have those as indictable offenses anymore? The ACLU has pretty much cut the legs off all that under "free speech".

But you can be sure if this were a film about Bill and Hillary being assassinated, there would be new laws MADE in order to jail and sentence those responsible.

My hope is twofold: a) this will bomb in the theaters here in the U.S., metaphorically speaking of course, and b) that this will backfire on the liberals in the voting booth.
