The Lunatic Left Teaching Our Kids

Little Green Footballs reports that a Colorado High School Geography teacher goes on a crazy anti-American rant (claiming as fact that we are the most violent country in the world) and one of his students records it all. In a Geography class, he covers the drug war, anti-tobacco lobbying and the constantly cited Bush=Hitler connection.

This man's a nut. He says the Chinese and Iranians have every right to invade the U.S. because we produce cigarettes.

And naturally, you have to hear his definition of capitalism.

But be forewarned, your blood pressure may rise since access to physically knock some sense into the man is not a possiblity.

Here's the audio. Click at your own risk.

UPDATE: About ten minutes into the recording, the student recording the nutcase begins to challenge the teacher's flat out lies. You can't help but feel badly for the students who are being intimidated and yelled at by a fanatic teacher who clearly makes it seem as though he's all-knowing.

He uses the classic liberal tactic of deflection when asked a direct question. In his rage, he covers more territory than Alexander the Great.

Honestly, I can't even summarize the audio. You just have to listen. This makes my blood boil. He points to the U.S. flag and says, "That's been the real symbol of terrorism since 1492."

This is sick.

You were right. My blood pressure did go up, along with chest pains. His rant can be dangerous to your health.

This teacher should be fired. Hopefully this recording will set the internet on fire. (Note to all LLL's: This is not a terrorist threat, only a figure of speech.)

Bless this teacher. May more just like him follow. Are you people kidding? I heard dozens of facts in that audio. From statistics about our troop deployment to our bombing Afghanistan. If you need it written out in text with references I can do that for you. The United States has always been a terrorist state. So is Israel.

"Pregnant man gives birth...That's a fact!" (taken from So I Married an Axe Murderer)

Sure there are facts, but what about truths? I can tell you right now that they are two completely different things, my friend.

If you really must find out the truth, then here it is: http://lawnrangers.blogspot.com/2006/03/dissecting-rant.html

Zach, you really should move to Canada. Otherwise you're a supporter of a terrorist nation. Doesn't that bother you? Supporting Capitalism, the American Way and Terrorism?

Not my fault I was born into a terrorist state. All I can do is my part in trying to make this country a moral place to live.

You calling the U.S. a "terrorist state" is silly, at the very least.

Secondly, you absolutely have the resources to leave this alleged land of the un-free.

Third, what is it you are doing to make this country a more moral place to live? Last we talked, you really didn't buy into the whole "morality" thing anyway.

It was a nice soapbox attempt.

considering how many have died between bombings and sanctions I don't think it's a stretch to call us terrorists. Or how many have been killed due to our support of militant regimes all around the world. But research isn't something you people do anyway so who cares.

uh, are you serious?

sanctions?

go find you a map of the world, then find Sudan. note the lack of Americans. then get ya the number of people who've died there.

then find China, repeat.

then Nigeria.

then Iran.

I would add Afghanistan and Iraq, but those have dramatically tailed off since Americans with weapons showed up.

well, except for the terrorists. they continue to keep dying.
